Akshay Kumar’s entry in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal 5’: The actor will be seen in the role of villain, there will be a fierce competition with Ajay Devgan.

Bollywood’s famous comedy franchise ‘Golmaal’ is now going to appear before the audience with its fifth installment and this time a big twist is going to be seen in the film. The news is coming that Akshay Kumar has entered ‘Golmaal 5’ as the main villain, who will fight on the screen against Ajay Devgan and his team. In the lead cast, Ajay Devgan will again be seen as the lead character of this franchise, along with the return of Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu and Shreyas Talpade is also certain. Apart from this, experienced actors like Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Mukesh Tiwari and Ashwini Kalsekar are also included in this list. Sharman Joshi is likely to return, while the final decision on Kareena Kapoor Khan’s presence has not been taken yet. Akshay Kumar’s acting as a villain in ‘Golmaal 5’ is considered to be a big change for this franchise, because earlier this series mainly focused on light comedy graph. According to the report of Variety India, along with traditional humor, some fantasy elements will also be included in the film, so that it can be made even bigger than before. The shooting of the film is expected to begin in late February in Mumbai’s Film City and the film is targeted for theatrical release in early 2027. This fifth installment also celebrates 20 years of the ‘Golmaal’ franchise, as the series has achieved huge success across the country since the first film was released in 2006. In Bollywood, the on-screen jugalbandi of Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan has already been seen in many films, like ‘Suhaag’, ‘Khakee’, ‘Insaan’, ‘Sooryavanshi’ and ‘Singham Again’, both of them have worked together, but their coming face to face in ‘Golmaal 5’ will be a new surprise for the audience.
