Additional Sessions Judge Harleen Kaur was hearing the anticipatory bail plea of ​​both contractors Himanshu Gupta and Kavish Gupta. Arrest warrants were issued against both of them on February 9, after which they demanded anticipatory bail. But the court rejected his application.

The court also rejected the regular bail plea of ​​sub-contractor Rajesh Kumar Prajapati arrested in this case. For them Delhi Police have arrested in this case. While refusing to give them relief, the court clearly said that the social impact cannot be ignored.

Earlier on February 11, the court had given interim protection to both the contractors till Wednesday. It was said in the order that no strict action would be taken against him till the next hearing. The deceased was identified as Kamal Dhyani, who worked in a private bank in Rohini.

He was returning home on the night of 5-6 February, when his bike fell into a pit dug for a sewer project. He suffered fatal injuries in the accident and died. So far two arrests have been made in this case. Delhi Police has arrested Rajesh Kumar Prajapati and Yogesh.

Both are in judicial custody. Rajesh Prajapati is accused of hiding the information about the bike rider falling into the pit, which caused delay in police and emergency response. Laborer Yogesh is accused of not informing the police or emergency officials about the incident.
