Delhi High Court has granted interim bail of 30 days to Rajpal Yadav in the check bounce case. After coming out of jail, the actor thanked everyone. He also appealed for work from the film industry. He said that once again he should be supported by giving him good roles. While talking to India TV, Rajpal Yadav first thanked the people for the support he received. He said, thank you very much for your support. From children to people of different generations, I have received a lot of love throughout my journey in Indian cinema and I am very thankful to everyone for that. Rajpal Yadav said, I need good roles in the industry. Those who have helped me in the past and supported me, I request them to once again help me in the roles that I want to do. Whatever fee they decide for this, I am ready to work. I have moved forward because of every blessing. I thank those who supported me on social media and I also thank those who spoke ill of me. Why was Rajpal Yadav in jail? In the year 2010, Rajpal Yadav had taken a loan of Rs 5 crore from private company Murali Projects Private Limited to make the film Ata Pata Lapata. This film was a flop and Rajpal Yadav had to face financial crisis. Rajpal could not return the loan amount in time. The checks given by Rajpal to the company while taking the loan bounced, after which a complaint was lodged against the actor. Despite the agreement between the two parties, full payment was not made and interest kept getting added over time, due to which the total debt increased significantly. In 2018, Karkardooma Court of Delhi convicted Rajpal Yadav and sentenced him to six months in jail. After this he appealed in the High Court, where he got relief several times, because he had given assurance of payment and settlement. However, in early February, the Delhi High Court had refused to extend the concessions and deadlines given earlier to the actor. The court had ordered him to surrender by February 4, after which he surrendered on February 5 at around 4 pm.
