Rajpal Yadav came out of jail after interim bail: Actor said – I am ready to answer the allegations
In New Delhi, Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav was released from Tihar Jail after getting interim bail from the High Court in the check bounce case. After completing the release formalities on Tuesday, he came out of jail and said that he would answer to all the charges. He also thanked the court. While talking to the media, Rajpal Yadav said that he will complete his 30 years in Bollywood in the year 2027. He expressed gratitude for the support received from people across the country. He said that if there is any allegation against him, he is ready to answer it. Let us tell you that Rajpal Yadav had surrendered in Delhi’s Tihar Jail on February 5 in the check bounce case. Why was Rajpal Yadav in jail? In the year 2010, Rajpal Yadav had taken a loan of Rs 5 crore from private company Murali Projects Private Limited to make the film Ata Pata Lapata. This film was a flop and Rajpal Yadav had to face financial crisis. Rajpal could not return the loan amount in time. The checks given by Rajpal to the company while taking the loan bounced, after which a complaint was lodged against the actor. Despite the agreement between the two parties, full payment was not made and interest kept getting added over time, due to which the total debt increased significantly. In 2018, Karkardooma Court of Delhi convicted Rajpal Yadav and sentenced him to six months in jail. He then appealed to the High Court, where he got relief several times, as he had given assurances of payment and settlement.
