Lisa Liu’s company sends about 40,000 coffins to Europe every year and earns about 40 million yuan (about 6 million dollars or about Rs 50 crore). Apart from Heze, some other villages of China are also making funeral items and selling them abroad. These include incense sticks, flower garlands and other items. Lisa Liu says that this business will continue forever, because people die every day in the world and everyone eventually needs a coffin.
