Courts of 18 districts of Uttar Pradesh, including Lucknow and Ayodhya, once again received bomb threats through email on Monday. The unidentified person warned of blasts at 11:15 am and again at 12:15 am, causing panic in the court premises. Local police and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) teams immediately took charge and conducted an intensive search operation.
It is noteworthy that a similar mail had also come last Friday, which is suspected to be linked to Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra. Now UP ATS is investigating this entire matter in depth.
A combination of panic for the third consecutive day
The flow of threatening mails is not stopping. In the second mail received on Monday, the time of the blast was changed to 12:15. as soon as information is received Lucknow The police and ATS of Wazirganj police station laid siege to the court. Although nothing suspicious has been found so far in the search, the entire complex is being searched in view of security. FIR has been registered against unknown people in all 18 affected districts including Wazirganj police station.
Connection to Tamil Nadu and ATS check
In the preliminary investigation, quoting sources, it is reported that this threatening email was sent from Tamil Nadu, in which Maharashtra is also mentioned. Since this matter is directly related to security, the government has handed over its entire investigation to UP ATS. Many agencies are working together to find the source of this email. On Friday too, the court was evacuated following a similar threat, due to which the court work was greatly affected.
