O Romeo earned 23.51 crores in two days: Box office collection on Saturday 14.50 crores, got the benefit of weekend, got 43 percent jump
Shahid Kapoor and Trupti Dimri starrer film O Romeo has made a box office collection of Rs 23.51 crore in two days. The film had made an opening collection of Rs 9 crore, after which the film has now got the benefit of the weekend. According to box office tracker website Sacknilk, the film O Romeo, released on February 13, had collected Rs 9 crores, after which the film has earned around Rs 14.50 crores on Saturday. With this the film has made a total box office collection of Rs 23.51 crore. The film got the benefit of weekend, got a jump of 45 percent in the box office collection of the film as compared to the opening day. The film has been released on more than 4700 screens across the country. The occupancy of the film is around 19.3 percent. It is estimated that like Saturday, the film can perform well on Sunday also. Mardaani 3 earned Rs 1.65 crore on the 16th day. Along with Romeo, Rani Mukherjee starrer film Mardaani 3 is also in theatres. This film, released on January 30, has collected Rs 1.65 crore on the 16th day of its release i.e. third Saturday. With this the total collection of the film has reached Rs 43.15 crore. Before this film, Sunny Deol’s multi-starrer film Border 2 was released on 23 January. Border performed well at the box office and collected Rs 1.90 crore on the 23rd day of its release i.e. this Saturday. The total Indian collection of the film has been Rs 382 crores, while the worldwide film has earned Rs 438 crores. The film O Romeo has been directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, in which Trupti Dimri, Shahid Kapoor, Avinash Tiwari and Nana Patekar are in important roles. This is the fourth film of Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj together, before which both have worked together in the films Kaminey, Rangoon and Haider.
