According to a report by Shin Min Daily News, Chang Cheng Holdings started in 1994 as a small Chinese vegetable-rice stall. Now, in the last 30 years, this company has been running 160 restaurants and more than 30 coffee shops and employing more than 1,200 people.

During this time, a dinner was organized here, where the workers working in the company for a long time were honored with gold mementos. Employees working in the company for 10 years or more, irrespective of their role, have been awarded a gold medal made of 999 percent pure gold.
This gold memento bears the company’s headquarters and brand logo along with the year of tenure of the employee (in 20, 25 or 30 grams) and is engraved with “999 pure gold”. Each plaque was housed in a red SK Jewelry gift box with a transparent display and frame, with the workers’ names engraved on the bottom.

Based on these figures, the total value of awards given to employees could exceed Singapore Dollar 500,000, which is equivalent to approximately Rs 3.5 crore.
