In Punjab, Khanna police took a major action under Operation Prahar 2 and arrested Punjabi singer Paramjit Kaur Pammi and her brother Sarwan Singh along with 8 grams of heroin from Machhiwada Sahib area. The police had conducted the search operation on the basis of inputs received from Save Punjab and Anti Gangster Helpline.
