RAJPAL YADAV CHECK BOUNCE CASE, after sonu sood many celebs come forward to support actor, FWICE appeal producer

Actor Rajpal Yadav is lodged in Tihar jail after surrendering in the check bounce case of Rs 9 crore. Actors are facing financial crisis these days and they do not have such a huge amount to return. After the news came out, actor Sonu Sood signed Rajpal Yadav in the film and gave a huge signing amount and also appealed to other producers to come forward for help. Since then, Rajpal Yadav has been receiving financial help from all over the country.
Film Federation appeals for help from producers
On Wednesday, FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) has appealed to all the producers to help Rajpal Yadav as soon as possible. In the press release issued by the Federation it is written,
Rajpal Yadav is not only a renowned actor who has brought joy and laughter to millions with his acting talent, but he is also a dedicated member of the industry who has made a remarkable contribution to Indian cinema through decades of hard work and memorable roles. Mr Rajpal Yadav is currently facing serious difficulties, including mounting liabilities and imprisonment. This situation does not reflect his character or integrity, but is the result of circumstances that got out of control.
It is further written, ‘In this crucial moment, FWICE believes that it is time that the film industry shows solidarity, compassion and collective responsibility towards its fellow citizens. Financial crises can affect anyone, regardless of their stature or success. Our identity as a fraternity is determined by how we stand with our colleagues in times of need.
Gurmeet Chaudhary also appealed
Actor Gurmeet Choudhary has written in support of Rajpal Yadav, I feel very sad to see that such a senior and extremely talented artist Rajpal Yadav is going through this difficult phase. They have given us countless smiles, laughs and memorable moments. Today they need us.
Gurmeet further writes, being a fellow artist and human being, I am coming forward to help in every possible way from my side. I make a humble appeal to all the producers, directors and people associated with the film industry that together we find a way out with humanity and compassion. Our industry is a family, and families never leave their people alone.
Sonu Sood was the first to help
While sharing the post on X and Instagram Stories, Sonu Sood wrote, Rajpal Yadav is a very talented actor who has given many memorable and unforgettable works to our film industry. Sometimes life can be unfair, but that doesn’t mean one lacks talent, rather times can be very harsh sometimes. He will be a part of my film and I believe this is the time when all of us producers, directors and associates stand together. The small signing amount that will be given, which can be adjusted according to future work, is not a donation, but it is their respect and dignity.
He further added, ‘When one of our own is going through difficult times, the industry should remind him that he is not alone. This way we can show that we are not just an industry, but a family.
Tej Pratap Yadav gave help of Rs 11 lakh
Announcing the help of Rajpal Yadav, politician Tej Pratap Yadav wrote from the official social media account, I just received information about the suffering of the family of Honorable Rajpal Yadav ji through the post of my elder brother Rao Inderjit Yadav ji. In this extremely difficult time, I and my entire JJD (Jan Shakti Janata Dal) family stand with his bereaved family with full sympathy and strength. In the spirit of human compassion and cooperation, I, on behalf of the JJD family, am providing financial assistance of ₹ 11,00,000 (Eleven Lakh Rupees) to his family.
James Toon Music owner Rao Inderjit Singh Yadav has also given financial assistance of Rs 1.11 crore to help Rajpal Yadav. He supported Rajpal Yadav not only as an artist but also as a human being. Besides, he also appealed to the countrymen to come forward and support Rajpal Yadav and his family.
Before surrender Rajpal Yadav said- I have no money
Before surrendering in the check bounce case, Rajpal Yadav had said in a statement, what should I do? I don’t have money. There is no other solution in sight. Here we are all alone. no mate. I will have to face this crisis myself.
Why is Rajpal Yadav in jail?
In the year 2010, Rajpal Yadav had taken a loan of Rs 5 crore from private company Murali Projects Private Limited to make the film Ata Pata Lapata. This film was a flop and Rajpal Yadav had to face financial crisis. Rajpal Yadav could not return the loan amount on time. The checks given by Rajpal Yadav to the company while taking the loan bounced, after which a complaint was lodged against the actor. Despite the agreement between the two parties, full payment was not made and with time interest kept getting added, due to which the total debt increased significantly.
In 2018, Karkardooma Court of Delhi convicted Rajpal Yadav and sentenced him to six months in jail. He then appealed to the High Court, where he got relief several times, as he had given assurances of payment and settlement.
