A heart-wrenching case has come to light in Vikarabad district of Telangana. Here a 23 year old female nurse has been arrested for the murder of her own parents. The accused girl wanted to marry a youth from another caste, but being angry with her parents’ refusal, she took this dreadful step.
According to the police, this incident happened on January 24. The accused gave an overdose of sleeping injection first to his mother and then to his father in his house in Yacharam village, due to which both of them died. The deceased have been identified as 58-year-old father and 52-year-old mother. The girl had met a young man through social media.
A love affair was formed between the two. When she brought up the matter of marriage at home, her parents refused the relationship citing caste. There was a continuous dispute going on in the house regarding this matter. Police say that after the parents protested, the accused conspired to remove them from the way. She worked in a hospital in Sangareddy district.
From there she brought sleeping injections. On the pretext of treating pain, she first gave overdose of injections to her mother and later to her father. After the death of his parents, the accused called his brother and told him that both of them had died due to the pressure of outstanding farm loans. The brother became suspicious and lodged a complaint with the police.
On the basis of this, a case of suspicious death was registered. During investigation, the police found three injections from the house, whose batch numbers were found to match those of Sangareddy Hospital. After strict interrogation, the accused confessed to his crime. After this the sections of the case were changed. The police arrested the woman and presented her in the court.
