But Jainendrajit proved that low marks do not decide the destination, hard work and passion do. Today he is studying Computer Science at IIT Bombay. Many times, when the marks in the board are less, the students lose their confidence. He feels that his career is over. But Jainendrajit’s story is inspiring many youth. Despite getting low marks in 10th, he worked hard and took admission in IIT Bombay. Let us tell you that only the toppers get the computer science course of IIT Bombay.

Move forward with only 54 percent

Let us tell you that Jainendrajit got only 54 percent marks in 10th. He got only 41 marks in Maths and 48 marks in Science. But Jainendrajit’s comeback in the year 2023 surprised everyone. He secured 99.98 percentile in JEE Main exam and All India Rank 349 (Open Category) and OBC rank 54 in JEE Advanced. He told the people that no single examination can ever tell the future of any student.

Now studying in IIT Bombay

After this he took admission in IIT Bombay and started studies. In IIT, he not only studied but also learned new technical and practical skills. In December 2025, he worked as a software engineer intern at Loop Health Company, Bengaluru. Apart from this, he also did a summer internship in Kimbal. During these internships, they got the experience of applying what they learned in college to real engineering projects and problems, which helped them advance their careers.

Marksheet alone does not matter

Jainendrajit’s story is a reminder that school marks don’t always predict where a person will end up. Class 10 is often considered an important milestone, but it is just one step in a longer journey.
