Additionally, seven banned VLCCs (very large crude oil tankers) are currently present in the Indian Ocean. All these tankers are fully loaded with Iranian oil and are waiting for international buyers.

Experts say that when America had imposed blockade on Iran earlier also, it had caused a huge reduction in Iranian oil exports, but it had failed to stop it completely.
