Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Australia on Wednesday after completing his three-day visit to Indonesia. Where Australian PM Anthony Albanese welcomed him at the Government House in Victoria and then he was given a guard of honour.

The formal reception followed high-level engagements between the two leaders, including their joint participation in the Australia-India CEO Forum and the Economic Roadmap Business Reception, where they addressed key business executives, investors and industry representatives from both countries. Where the PM addressed the top industrialists and businessmen of both the countries and shared India’s energy and infrastructure targets. Apart from this, the PM also met former Prime Minister of Australia Scott Morrison.

At the same time, after meeting PM Modi, the Australian PM talked to him and also clicked a selfie with him. Sharing a selfie with PM Modi on Instagram, he wrote, ‘Together we are growing our economies and supporting the businesses of Australia and India. The relationships between our people have made many of our business success stories possible. And we will continue to work with business leaders and universities to enhance Australia’s economic ties with India.

He further wrote that our objective is to create employment opportunities in our country and take full advantage of business and investment opportunities in the future.

Following the PM’s address at the CEO Forum, Paul Henry, Senior Principal, Global Director and Co-Founder of Populous, said, “Today was a very successful day and PM Modi has shown his tremendous commitment by attending this event with PM Albanese. This is a very good sign for Australia-India relations. PM Modi’s support for Ahmedabad for the potential Olympics in 2036 and Commonwealth Games in 2030 is very encouraging, which shows that India What a visionary approach we have at this time and we can see tremendous growth going forward. We have been working in India with an office in Delhi for the last 15 years and it is very exciting to see the growth in the field of cricket as well as entertainment.
