A cargo plane of Pakistan has gone missing in the Arabian Sea. There were five crew members on board this cargo plane. The plane was going from Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates to Karachi. Pakistan Airport Authority has said that search and rescue operations have been started in the Arabian Sea to locate the plane. Radar contact with the K2 Airways Boeing 737 aircraft was lost about 155 nautical miles west of Karachi.

According to PAA, Karachi ACC provided immediate necessary assistance to the aircraft. A few minutes later, at around 9.22 pm, the plane was seen on the radar descending rapidly.

A sudden change in the direction of this aircraft was also seen. After some time, the aircraft was completely cut off from radar and communication systems. The Rescue Coordination Center was activated immediately after the incident. PAA has said that the operation has been started in the sea with the help of various agencies.
