Spent on brother’s wedding, bought a car
According to sources, the accused told that he gave around Rs 6 lakh for the wedding expenses of one of his brothers, while he gave around Rs 5 lakh to the other brother. Investigation also revealed that he had purchased a car worth about Rs 3.5 lakh, which the police has already recovered.
Gave Rs 2.5 lakh to a friend
Police claim that Avinash transferred about Rs 2.5 lakh to the account of one of his friends and also gifted him an expensive mobile phone. Apart from this, different amounts were also distributed to many other people, the investigation of which is going on.

During the investigation, the police have also interrogated two brothers of Avinash Shukla and have taken into their possession many documents related to the case. According to officials, the land purchased in the name of his brother Abhishek Shukla in the year 2024 is also being investigated. Besides, the bank accounts to which the embezzled amount was allegedly transferred are also being investigated. Police said that legal process has been started to recover the amount from the people to whom this money has reached.
Rs 20.39 lakh in cash, 1,121 US dollars recovered
In this case, the police have already recovered Rs 20.39 lakh in cash, 1,121 US dollars, gold jewellery, silver jewellery, other valuables and a car from the possession of Avinash Shukla. The investigation of the case is going on and the police is investigating the entire network and links of money transactions.
