According to James, the powerful man Mani Saraulia and his family living in the neighborhood want to take over his land. The matter is still pending in the court. Meanwhile, when he was sleeping in the house at night, his neighbor Mani Sarothiya came there with 60 to 70 of his people and first locked the doors outside the house. Then after cutting the wires of the CCTV cameras, the shop kept outside the house was demolished with a bulldozer. Hearing the noise, he somehow jumped over the wall and came out and tried to stop them but the bullies did not agree and they started threatening James.
After which police were called by dialing 112. However, by the time the police arrived, the miscreants had destroyed the shop. Goods worth Rs 6 to 7 lakh kept in the shop were also destroyed.
The victim has lodged a complaint in the name of Pradeep Sarothia and his sons Mani and Gyanu Sarothia, who live in the neighbourhood. The police have registered the case. Dozens of unidentified people are also included in the FIR. One accused has been detained.
