The Pakistani Army is in panic after the suicide attack near the headquarters of Pakistan Rangers in Karachi. The army carried out a major ground operation near the Afghanistan-Pakistan border and carried out air strikes on rebel positions. During this period the army killed 29 rebels.

Pakistan Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said that this campaign was started in response to several terrorist attacks in recent times across the country.

This action took place a day after the suicide attack in Karachi on Sunday. Terrorists armed with weapons and explosives attacked the regional headquarters of Pakistan Rangers in Karachi. Three soldiers were killed in this attack.

Security forces retaliated by killing three attackers and one injured attacker was arrested. The army identified him as an Afghan citizen.

Responsibility for the attack was claimed by Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, an affiliate of Tehreek-e-Taliban Formed by separating from Pakistan (TTP).

Regarding the military operation, Attaullah Tarar said that in the latest operation the bases of Jamaat-ul-Ahrar and Fitna al-Khawarij were targeted. The Pakistan government uses the term Fitna al-Khawarij for TTP.

After this, attacks were carried out on terrorist bases located in the border areas of Afghanistan. During this period, three positions were targeted in Paktia Province, Paktika Province and Kunar Province, where 29 rebels were killed.
