People involved in theft clashed over distribution: Pawan Pandey
Former SP MLA Pawan Pandey claimed that this matter came to light for two reasons. First- According to him, ‘Lord Ram himself has done this to bring out this truth. Akhilesh Yadav Chose.’ The second reason he gave was that the people allegedly involved in the theft clashed among themselves over the division and share, after which the matter started coming to light. Pawan Pandey alleged that a dispute broke out among the people counting the offerings in the Ram temple over ‘who is taking out more money and jewellery’.
After this confrontation, talks of alleged theft started coming out. Pawan Pandey claimed that even the jewellery, silver and cash offered in the temple were going missing. The Samajwadi Party leader also alleged that Ram Mandir Trust There were allegations of irregularities earlier also. Referring to the land purchase controversy of 2021, he said that land worth Rs 2 crore was purchased for Rs 20 crore in a short time, but no action was taken in that matter. According to him, the case of offering theft was also being suppressed for a long time.
Ram Mandir Trust is run by Champat Rai only: Pawan Pandey
Pawan Pandey made serious allegations against former General Secretary of Ram Mandir Trust Champat Rai, Trustees Anil Mishra and Gopal Rao. He said that without the consent of Champat Rai, not even a leaf could move in the trust. He claimed that those who stole offerings were given protection and because of this they had to resign later. The SP leader said that if Champat Rai was completely innocent, he would not have resigned. Pawan Pandey raised the question that if the people who made the allegations were wrong, then why was a defamation case not filed against them by the Trust. He said that this silence raises many questions.
Samajwadi Party The leader also raised questions on the SIT investigation. Pawan Pandey said that he does not have confidence in the investigation, because the Trust is also the complainant and the report also has to be submitted to it. He demanded that this entire matter should be investigated under the supervision of the Supreme Court and if necessary, the trust should be dissolved and a new arrangement should be made. The SP leader said that Ram temple is the center of faith of crores of people and if there is any disturbance in the offerings there, then it is not just an economic crime but a betrayal of the trust of crores of devotees. He said that strict action should be taken against the culprits and the case should be investigated layer by layer.
