Bollywood actor Chandrachud Singh reached Aligarh with his brother Abhimanyu Singh on Saturday and met the officers.
Now read the whole matter in detail…
Actor Chandrachud Singh comes from Jalalpur estate family.
Chandrachud Singh has worked in films like ‘Maachis, Josh, Kya Kehna’. His family is counted among the old landlord families of Aligarh. His father Captain Baldev Singh was an officer in the Indian Army. He became MLA from Sadar Assembly seat in 1985. The family’s lands are spread across Jalalpur and many surrounding villages. Small and big disputes over land had been taking place in the past as well, but this is the first time the matter has come to light.
Controversy increased after uncle’s death
Chandrachud’s uncle Ganga Singh lived in Sweden for a long time. After the death of his brother, Ganga Singh started living in Jalalpur Haveli. Ganga Singh died in October-2025. Since then, tension increased in the family regarding possession and claim on ancestral property, mansion and trust lands.

Actor Chandrachud Singh also accused him of occupying this heritage mansion.
Now read what Chandrachud’s brother Abhimanyu said…
Fake will made a day before grandfather’s death
Our grandfather was a very big landlord of Aligarh. He died in the year 1997. Just a day before his death, a fake will was prepared. Along with some family members, outsiders are also involved in this big conspiracy. Through this fake will, all the valuable land was transferred to the name of one family and two people.
collusion with tehsil workers
No probate of the will was even conducted. Uncle Ganga Singh’s wife and son took possession of the mansion and land fraudulently. They manipulated the revenue documents in a very clever manner with the connivance of the officers and employees of the Tehsil office. These lands have been sold illegally for years by changing their names.
We were in Mumbai, the game was happening behind us
My family was living in Mumbai for a long time. Due to being away from Aligarh, there was no clue that the ancestral properties were being taken over and sold. Now a legal team has been deployed based on information about fraud.
The ancestral property also includes The Jalalpur Estate, a historic mansion built in 1870. It is a heritage property. All the documents have been extracted and a complaint has been made to higher authorities.

This is the same mansion of Jalalpur Estate, on which many members of the family are now staking their claim.
The matter reached the court, now preparations for criminal action
Chandrachud’s brother Abhimanyu told – A civil suit has been filed in Aligarh court. I have been continuously collecting evidence for two months. Soon a criminal case will be registered in this matter.
Not only the family members are involved in this land dispute and fraud, but some local politicians are also trying to enter into it through wrong means. Whoever is found involved in this fraud, strict legal action will be taken against him.
