This is where the acquaintance started, which turned into friendship, then into love and finally into a conspiracy in which Sia’s fiance Ketan Aggarwal lost his life.
Chetan Chaudhary used to play cricket. Sia’s elder brother Sahil Goyal was also a part of the same circle. Both had played with the same team in many local cricket matches. During the investigation, the police also found an old video of 2004, in which Sahil and Chetan are seen playing together in a cricket league. That means the identities of both were not new.
Siya often went to watch cricket matches with her brother. During this time he met Chetan. It started with a general introduction, but with time their conversation increased.
However, the police believe that the closeness between the two increased around Diwali of 2025. Both met again at a common friend’s party. After this the conversations started becoming regular. This was the period from where the relationship started moving beyond friendship.
The most shocking fact in the investigation came to light from the call detail record (CDR). According to the police, from January 2026 to June, there were 2,004 phone calls between Siya and Chetan. The total duration of these calls was about 238 hours. That means there were long conversations between the two every day. The police are now trying to find out what was discussed in these conversations and whether the murder conspiracy was hatched during these months.

But here in the story a big question arises. Sia’s brother Sahil Goyal was interrogated by the police for about eight hours.

If Siya had clearly told the family that she did not want to marry Ketan, the family would not have gone ahead with the marriage. The family never got any indication that Sia was unhappy with this relationship. That is, on one hand the family was busy preparing for the wedding, on the other hand, according to the police, Sia and Chetan were in constant contact.
Police claim that on June 17, i.e. just a day before the incident, Siya and Chetan met at a cafe in Lullanagar, Pune. Both stayed there for about an hour. The police is now considering this meeting as very important. Investigating agencies believe that further planning may have been discussed in this meeting.
The next day on 18th June, Ketan, Siya and Chetan reached the area of Lohagarh Fort. According to the police, a pre-planned conspiracy was carried out here. Investigating officers claim that the planning was extremely dangerous. It was decided that Siya would sit at a fixed place and give signals. As soon as that signal is received, Chetan will come from behind and push Ketan into the ditch. Police say that during the initial interrogation, Chetan tried to prove himself innocent, but after technical evidence and interrogation, his statement changed.
Many questions are still unresolved in the Ketan murder case. Why didn’t Siya refuse marriage? What was discussed in the 2004 call? Why was the chat deleted? What was decided in the café? Did anyone else have information? Why normal behavior after murder? Will forensics reveal new things? At present the investigation of this entire case is going on.
Now digital evidence has become the most important part of the investigation. Police say that both the accused not only deleted WhatsApp chats from their mobile phones but also deleted them from the recycle bin. That is, an effort was made to ensure that no record of the conversation was left. However, mobile forensic labs have been sent and experts are trying to recover the deleted data. Police hope that the recovered chats can solve many mysteries of this case.
