Through this, health information of passengers coming to India will be collected in advance so that the risk of infection can be reduced.

What will passengers have to do?
According to health officials, international passengers coming to India under AIR SUVIDHA 2.0 will have to fill an online health self-declaration form before travelling. In this they will have to give information about some things related to themselves. In this they will have to give details of their travel of the last 21 days. If there has been contact with an infected person, information about it will have to be given. Any symptoms related to Ebola will also have to be mentioned. Passengers will have to fill this form 24 hours before reaching India. After filling the form, the downloaded copy will have to be shown at the immigration counter of the airport.
How will the new system work?
AIR SUVIDHA 2.0 has real time data sharing system. Through this, information about passengers will immediately reach the health agency. With the help of this data, health officials will be able to identify suspicious passengers. This information will go to airport authorities, health authorities and concerned state health authorities.
