27 year old Nilesh Kumar also died in the Lucknow fire. When he touched his parents’ feet and left home for his job, even his family members did not know that he would not return. Father Shatrughan Lal has tears in his eyes and is cursing the system. They are saying that the government is responsible for my son’s death, what will happen by taking action now and forming a SIT? My son will not come back.
Shatrughan says that my son used to leave the house so happily, I had not thought that I would be able to see him for the last time tomorrow. The government should check from time to time.
Nilesh’s father made this demand
The safety standards should be checked and it should be found out whether the building has fire safety. What are the safety measures if a short circuit ever occurs? Shatrughan said that there was no exit arrangement in the complex and no one was present on the spot. If people had reached on time, the lives of many others including Nilesh would have been saved. The government should take strict action against the accused. Nilesh’s mother is crying over losing her young son in the fire and Nilesh’s dead body is being seen.
Let us tell you that Lucknow In Aliganj area where 15 people died due to fire, the fire department team could not do anything even after reaching the spot on time. The fire department team reached the spot within 2 minutes of receiving the information. But it took a lot of effort to rescue the people trapped due to smoke. It was very important for the fire department team to go inside and remove the smoke to reach the second floor. For which even the adjacent wall had to be cut.
Till date, it reached the wall where the fire department team made arrangements for the smoke to come out by making four holes and pulled out the trapped people. This wall was adjacent to the roof of the house built in the neighborhood of this commercial complex. Therefore, the fire department team immediately went to the neighbor’s terrace and made holes in the wall at four places, only then smoke started coming out.
