Police have arrested a person for allegedly circulating objectionable material on social media about Aditi Yadav, daughter of Samajwadi Party chief and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. After cyber investigation and analysis of electronic evidence, Nageshwar Singh Baghel, a resident of Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh, was taken into custody. After the arrest, the accused was produced in the court, from where he was released on bail.
This matter came to light after a complaint was lodged at the Cyber Police Station by SP Advocate Sabha National Secretary Praveen Yadav on June 11. The complaint alleged that some persons shared a modified photograph using social media platforms and posted inappropriate comments along with it.

On the basis of the complaint, a case was registered against Bharat Patel, Nageshwar Singh Baghel and Vinod Kumar under Information Technology Act and other related sections.
After the case was registered, the Crime Branch and Cyber Police started investigating the related social media profiles. Nageshwar Singh Baghel was identified during digital tracking and technical analysis, after which the police team arrested him from Rewa. According to officials, the court granted him bail after the hearing.
The investigating agencies have also received information that the social media account of Bharat Patel, another accused named in the case, is being operated from abroad. In preliminary investigation, its location was found in the state of Pennsylvania, America.
Whereas about the third accused Vinod Kumar, it has been told that he Uttar Pradesh He is a resident of Jaunpur district and drives an auto to earn his living. Police are continuing further investigation and legal process in relation to both of them.
