A very shocking incident has come to light from Texas, America, where a 19-year-old boy of Indian origin allegedly opened fire and killed his own parents and grandmother. After this horrific incident, the police has arrested the accused boy.
According to a report by KRGV 5, the accused has been identified as Gaurav Chopra. He allegedly shot his father Sveera Ram, his mother Kamlesh Rani and his grandmother Minder Kaur. It is being told that he also fired at his brother, but he survived the attack and informed the police about the incident.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot. On reaching there they found two people dead and the accused had fled from the spot. The police took Sveera Ram to the hospital, where she died during treatment.

Chopra’s arrest followed a car chase in which two people were injured and had to be hospitalised. According to the information, Chopra’s speeding car had hit his car. After taking Chopra into custody, police found a handgun in his car and suspect that the murder was committed with that weapon.
Officials have not revealed the motive behind the incident. At the same time, Hidalgo County Sheriff Eddie Guerra said that the suspect made some claims during the investigation which investigators did not consider to be true.
Chopra appeared in court on Thursday and was charged with murder and attempted murder of several people. The officials identified Chopra from University of texas As a student of the Rio Grande Valley. The university said in a statement that it is aware that one of its current students has been identified in an ongoing off-campus criminal investigation and will cooperate with law enforcement agencies.
