Only 15 minutes will be given for subjects like Maths and Reasoning. This type of rule is being implemented for the first time in SSCV CGL 2026. Through this, it will not be allowed to use the time of one section in another section. As soon as the time of one section ends, the screen will automatically take you to the next section.
25 questions to be solved in 15 minutes
Let us tell you that in Tier-1, 25-25 questions are asked from Math, English, Reasoning and General Knowledge. In such a situation, now only 15 minutes will be available for each section. Half marks will be deducted for giving wrong answers in the exam. The thing to note is how the candidates will solve Maths and Reasoning questions in just 15 minutes.
The rule will apply to Tier-2 exam also
Let us tell you that this rule will apply not only to Tier-1 but also to Tier-2 examination. 30-30 minutes will be given to solve Math and Reasoning questions. Time will be given for 45 questions of English and 20 minutes for 25 questions of General Awareness. Whereas, there will be 20 questions in Computer Knowledge which will be given only 15 minutes to solve.

The Commission has issued a notification for recruitment to 12,256 posts. Under this, there will be appointments for Group B and C in many ministries and departments of the Central Government. The application process for this has started and will close on June 22. At the same time, the last date for depositing fees is 23rd June. Talking about selection, first you will have to appear in Tier-1 exam. In this, successful candidates will have to appear in Tier-2 examination. Tier-2 will be prepared on the basis of performance and post preferences of the candidates and candidates selected. Once the priority of the post is filled, it cannot be changed.
