The investigation into the NEET 2026 paper leak case is continuously making new revelations. Now the connection of Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh has come to light in this high-profile case. Rajasthan Police has arrested Dr. Shubham Khairnar from Nashik, Maharashtra, who was once a BAMS student at Shri Satyasai University, Sehore. After this arrest, the investigating agencies are also investigating the possibility of the paper leak network being connected to Madhya Pradesh.
Shubham was arrested on 3 May
According to the information, Rajasthan Police had detained Shubham Khairnar on 3 May 2026. Since then he is being continuously interrogated. During investigation, police came to know that Shubham Sehore Has been associated with Sri Satyasai University. After this, the police also contacted the university and collected information about the educational records and activities of the accused.
According to sources, the investigating agencies are trying to find out whether Shubham was part of any bigger network and whether he had created any kind of contact or network through medical education institutions. The police is also investigating from this angle whether he had any direct or indirect connection with other accused related to the paper leak.
However, in this entire matter, the Sri Satyasai University management has distanced itself from the accused Shubham Khairnar. University Vice Chancellor Mukesh Tiwari clearly said that Shubham had definitely taken admission in BAMS course in the year 2021, but after admission, he never came to the university regularly. According to the Vice Chancellor, he neither appeared in any examination nor participated in any educational or other activity.
University claims the accused never came to class
The university administration says that the accused had only nominal connection with the institute and had no connection with campus activities. Despite this, the police is investigating all possible aspects to clarify whether the role of the accused was only limited or he was a part of a larger organized gang.
It is noteworthy that in the NEET 2026 paper leak case, raids and arrests are being made continuously in Rajasthan, Haryana, Maharashtra and other states. The investigating agencies claim that the network of paper leaks was spread in many states and through transactions of huge amounts, question papers were delivered to the candidates before the examination.
Now after the Sehore connection has come to light, the investigation has intensified. Rajasthan Police is investigating the contacts, financial transactions and educational networks of the accused Shubham Khairnar on the basis of his interrogation. It is expected that more big revelations will be made in this matter in the coming days.
