He said, ‘So I and other guards present there immediately went out of the main gate.’
He also told that both the motorcyclists ran towards ‘I Love Bandra’ point on the right and from there went towards Mehboob Studio Road. On behalf of the prosecution, Special Public Prosecutor Mahesh Mulay presented the CCTV footage in the court. In this, a motorcycle was seen coming in front of the gate. The witness identified details from the video. The bodyguard clarified that Salman Khan was in his bedroom on the first floor at the time of the attack. He insisted that ‘this firing was an attempt to murder the actor.’
During cross-examination, when questioned by defense advocate Viral Babar, the witness confirmed that he was in the security cabin when he heard the sound. However, in response to the second question, the bodyguard said that he had no ‘personal knowledge’ of the specific threats given to Salman Khan. On Saturday, May 2, another witness, who is a police guard, appeared in court. He said he was sitting in the lobby and did not see the incident, only to later see bullet shells near the scene.

On April 14, 2024, bike riders named Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal had opened fire outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment. According to the police, Mohammad Rafiq Sardar Chaudhary had conducted recce of Galaxy Apartments two days before the firing. A video of the area was shot and sent to Anmol Bishnoi, who is a wanted accused in this case. Gupta and Pal along with other accused Sonu Kumar Bishnoi, Mohammad Rafiq Chaudhary and Harpal Singh are currently in judicial custody. One accused Anuj Kumar Thakur has committed suicide in police custody. Jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his brother Anmol Bishnoi have been shown as wanted accused in this case.
