Hema Malini became emotional remembering Dharmendra: Said- I miss him, I don’t know how I will live my life without him.
Actress Hema Malini became emotional on Thursday remembering her husband and actor Dharmendra. A video of an event in Mumbai surfaced, in which Hema Malini said, ‘Her journey was full of passion, dedication and immense love for the audience. He always used to say that film is a medium to connect with the heart. He was passionate about films and cameras. As his life partner, I saw how passionate he was and how he touched the hearts of millions of people and how he treated everyone. The actress further said, ‘He has inspired many people, even youngsters, as an actor, a friend, a father. He was a great man and I was very lucky to be with him. I miss him. I don’t know how I will live without him, but that’s another matter. Dharmendra passed away last year. Dharmendra died on 24 November 2025 in Mumbai at the age of 89. Three days after Dharmendra’s death, Hema Malini shared an emotional post for him. He had said that Dharmendra was everything to him and the void created by his departure will last throughout his life. After sharing the picture with Dharmendra, Hema had emotionally written – Dharam ji. He was many things to me, a loving husband, a doting father to our two daughters Isha and Ahana, a friend, philosopher, guide, poet, my ‘go-to’ person in all times of need. To be honest, they were everything to me. He was always with me through good and bad times. He had won the hearts of every member of my family with his easygoing, friendly nature, always showering affection and affection on everyone. He further wrote, As a public figure, his talent, his humble nature despite his popularity, and his universal appeal, all made him a unique and incomparable icon, the likes of which are rarely found in any other legend. His fame and achievements will always be remembered in the film industry. My personal loss is beyond words, and the void left will remain with me for the rest of my life. After years of traveling together, I will now relive those special moments again and again with the help of countless memories.
