A unique protest from a JE of the Electricity Department has come to light in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Angered by being suspended, JE Abhay Kumar climbed the telephone tower, which created a stir in the area and a crowd of people gathered at the spot. According to the information, the incident is said to have happened around 6 pm, when people saw that Abhay Kumar was climbing a telephone tower about 20 feet high. The fellow engineers and employees standing below kept coaxing him to get down, but he remained adamant on his demand.

It was told that Abhay Kumar is posted at Chhivaiya feeder of Ganga Par Division. Meanwhile, in the Ganga crossing area, a lineman had pushed an outsider onto an electric pole, due to which he died due to electrocution.

Angered by the suspension, protested

Seeing this negligence, Superintendent Engineer Saurabh Gautam suspended JE Abhay Kumar. Angered by the suspension, he protested by climbing the telephone tower.

The JE who climbed the tower demanded withdrawal of his suspension and remained there for a long time. The employees present on the spot kept trying to convince them. After a long consultation, he was finally brought down from the tower safely.
