According to People magazine, the accident occurred on Sunday afternoon when the worker was part of a team building structures for the show. Organizers released a statement on Instagram, stating that the deceased worked as a stage builder and could not be saved after the accident. Shakira expressed grief: According to Entertainment Weekly, Shakira said in a statement, ‘I am very sad for the family, friends and colleagues of Gabriel de Jesus Firmino.’ Organizers said that immediately after the accident, the first responders present at the spot provided initial help. After this the fire department was called and the injured employee was taken to the hospital. However, he died during treatment. According to the State Fire Department, the accident occurred while using the lifting system. During this, the employee’s legs were badly crushed, due to which he suffered serious injuries. The organizers said that all possible assistance is being provided to the victim’s family, the company concerned and the team members affected by the incident.
