There is a continuous tussle between America and Iran regarding agreement on temporary ceasefire. Now US President Donald Trump has claimed that within 10 minutes of canceling the visit of his US delegation to Pakistan, a new peace proposal was received from Iran which is many times better than the earlier proposal.

Iran has made it clear that it will not accept America’s ‘extreme demands’. Tehran has expressed doubts about trusting America. Iran is currently in favor of only indirect talks through Pakistan and has appreciated Islamabad’s mediation efforts.

At present, an indefinite ceasefire is in force between the two countries, but the ground situation remains tense. Trump has blockaded Iranian ports and has given orders to shoot at sight small boats laying tunnels.

On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered his army to launch a massive attack on Hezbollah in Lebanon.
