Anti Robbery and Serious Crime (ARSC) team has arrested ex-Muslim YouTuber Salim Vastik from Loni, Ghaziabad. The accused is accused of kidnapping and murder of a 13-year-old child in 1995.
According to the police, in the year 1995, Salim Vastik along with his associates had kidnapped a 13 year old innocent child. After the kidnapping, a ransom of Rs 30 thousand was demanded from the family. But even before the ransom money was received, the accused had murdered the child. This incident had shocked the entire area at that time.
Salim was arrested in this case and in 1997 the court sentenced him to life imprisonment. However, he got bail in the year 2000. After coming out on bail, he absconded and kept avoiding the police by hiding his identity.

Not only this, to escape from the police he even declared himself dead. After this he changed his identity and moved to Haryana and India under the name Salim Ahmed. In 2011, the Delhi High Court had rejected his appeal, after which he started trying more tricks to escape the law. He created his new identity on social media as an ex-Muslim YouTuber.
