According to prosecution officer Ashish Shukla, on April 16, the accused youth approached the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Manish Singh. When the court collated the evidence, it found that it was written in the police papers that the girl did not go of her own free will, whereas in the videography the girl clearly said that she had gone with her lover of her own free will. This fraud committed by the statement writer and the commentator raised serious questions on the judicial process.
The punishment of suspension fell on the investigator
Taking a tough stand in this matter, SP Rural Deeksha Bhabre said that a preliminary investigation was conducted after a discrepancy was found between the written and video statements. In the investigation, the role of the investigator, statement writer and police station chief was found suspicious. Mainly, after finding the investigator guilty, action for his suspension has been sent.
