There has been a stir in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh after the case of a college student being found in 108 ambulance came to light. The video of the girl student sitting in the ambulance deployed to take the patient to the hospital went viral on social media, due to which the discussion has intensified in the entire district.
According to the information, this ambulance was operating under 108 ambulance service. The incident is said to have happened around 3:12 pm on April 20, when an ambulance was seen at Chhatrasal intersection in the city and a college student was seen sitting inside it.
It was told that ambulance pilot Bhagat Singh Yadav and employee Jitendra Mishra made the student sit in the ambulance and went out of the city towards four lanes. During this time the local people became suspicious and started chasing the vehicle.
Ambulance chase and commotion on the road
Local people started making videos on their mobile phones while chasing the ambulance. Seeing the chase, the pilot increased the speed of the ambulance and tried to overtake the vehicles by cutting them off, which further increased the anger of the people chasing them.
After going some distance, people stopped the ambulance by parking their cars in front. There was also an argument between the pilot and the people on the spot. People demanded to open the door of the ambulance, after which the door was opened.
As soon as the door opened, a college student was found sitting inside, whose video was recorded by the people present at the spot. This video later went viral on social media and the whole matter gained momentum.
Administrative silence and action
When Aaj Tak asked Brijendra Singh over the phone for his reaction regarding this entire matter, he refused to say anything on camera. He said that speaking is not allowed in this matter.
Referring to the Bhopal head office, he said that only state media in-charge Tarun Singh will give an official response and he has been barred from giving a statement.
Meanwhile, taking action in the matter, ambulance pilot Bhagat Singh Yadav has been terminated. After the incident, questions are being raised on the functioning of the ambulance service and administration.
