According to the police, two teams have been formed to search for the accused husband and efforts have been intensified to arrest him. After the incident, there is an atmosphere of panic in the area and people are shocked about the incident.
Domestic dispute and suspicion became the reason for murder
The matter pertains to Bagehta village under Murwal outpost of Baberu Kotwali area. 52-year-old Sarafia, who lives here, often had disputes with her husband Mobin. According to the police, the accused husband used to doubt his wife’s character, due to which there were frequent arguments and fights between the two.
A similar dispute took place on Thursday also, after which the accused killed the wife by hitting her four times with an axe. After committing the crime he fled from the spot. It is being told that the accused husband had returned home from Mumbai only two days ago.
The incident came to light when the daughter reached home. Seeing the mother’s body soaked in blood, there was chaos among the family and neighbors. Police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it to the mortuary for post-mortem.
Police registered a case, search continues for arrest
In this case, DSP said that the police took immediate action as soon as the information was received. Praveen Kumar told that on April 16, information was received from Babaru police station area that a man attacked his wife with a sharp weapon due to a personal dispute, due to which she died due to serious injuries.
He told that the police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem and a case has been registered in the case. Teams have been formed to arrest the accused and soon he will be arrested and sent to judicial custody. At present, the police is taking further necessary legal action and the search for the accused is going on.
