Ashok Kanjariya, a resident of Rajkot, Gujarat, traveled 700 kilometers on foot to meet Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar in Mumbai. He left Rajkot without wearing shoes carrying the tricolor on 17 February 2026 and reached Mumbai in 18 days. However, after reaching Mumbai, he could not meet Akshay for several days. After this he stayed in the city and continued his efforts. He reached outside Akshay Kumar’s house several times, but was not successful in meeting him. According to the report of ‘Desh Gujarat’, Ashok Kanjariya did not give up and waited in Mumbai for about a month. During this time he stayed on the footpath and railway station. During this period he spent approximately Rs 14 thousand. His family, his wife and two sons, were waiting for him in Rajkot. After reaching Mumbai on 6 March, he had to wait for a whole month. At last their meeting became possible on 8th April. Akshay Kumar had instructed his security team to call him. Thinking that the opportunity should not be missed, Ashok reached Juhu at 7 in the morning. Then he met Akshay Kumar at 8:30 in the morning. During this, the actor blessed him and also got his photo clicked. During the meeting, Akshay blessed Ashok by saying ‘be happy son’ and also got a photo clicked together. Ashok later told that Akshay sir called me ‘son’ many times. God fulfilled his wish. Ashok says my big dream came true, also Akshay forbids Ashok from walking barefoot and calls it wrong.
