Trump has threatened Iran several times regarding Hormuz and has given an ultimatum to open this sea route. He has also expressed displeasure at European and NATO allies for not helping America in opening Hormuz. Trump even warned that America could withdraw from NATO.

Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf responded by saying that the US President’s ‘reckless actions’ would set the entire region on fire.
