To shoot the climax scene of the film Dhurandhar 2, actor Ranveer Singh shot in 47-48 degree temperature wearing a leather jacket and wig. This information was given by the film’s makeup and prosthetic artist Karandeep Singh. Regarding the making of the film, Karandeep told in a conversation with NDTV that it took 15 to 20 days to shoot the climax scene of the film including rehearsals. He said the shooting took place on the outskirts of Ludhiana, where the temperature had reached 47-48 degrees. There was no shade or trees around, which made the situation more challenging. The climax scene was shot in an industrial setup. There were metal containers, carts and parked goods trains all around the set, from which heat was constantly emanating. The team had to shoot amidst these. Karandeep did the scene of jumping on burning containers. Karandeep told that during this time Ranveer did action scenes wearing heavy Pathani suit, leather jacket and overcoat. In one scene, he had to jump on burning containers, which were extremely hot due to the heat. He also revealed that a bucket of blood (props) was used a week during shooting. Despite the extreme heat, Ranveer Singh remained calm the entire time. Karandeep told that there were fans and ACs on the set, but due to the extreme heat, they were not proving to be very effective. It had become difficult for the team to even eat food. Ranveer also had to wear a wig during the shooting, which felt like a woolen cap in the heat.
