Actor Vindu Dara Singh has reacted regarding Ranbir Kapoor’s film ‘Ramayana’. He said that the visuals of the film are fantastic, but if there are too many changes in the story then the audience will not accept it. It is noteworthy that Vindu’s father was to play the role of Hanuman in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana. Talking to DNA about the film Ramayana, Vindu said that it looks fantastic, very beautiful, but there is a strict rule. The Ramayana created by Ramanand Sagar ji is completely settled in the hearts and minds of all of us. That Ramayana is historical, number one. If this film matches its level, it will be a superhit. It would prove to be a record breaking hit. Vindu also said, “If too much change is made in the story, like in this he is seen as dangerous (Asura), then if too much is changed, then people will not accept it.” He praised the visuals and said that Namit Malhotra knows how to present visuals well and the special effects will be tremendous, but if he has not followed Sagar Sahab’s Ramayan, then it will create a big problem for him. Vindu praised Ranbir Kapoor and said that he looks good as Ram. He also said that Arun Govil’s image is still associated with people as Ram, while his father Dara Singh is remembered as Hanuman. He said that now new actors are playing the same character and Arun Govil is perfect in the role of Dasharatha in this film. Vindu expressed hope that if the acting and presentation were good then the film could be successful. New Ramayana said to be better than Adipurush Vindu Dara Singh said that based on what has been seen so far, this film looks better than Adipurush. He said that the earlier Ramayana and Mahabharata serials have set a standard, with which comparison is natural.
