Furthermore, under Article 52 of the Additional Protocol to the Geneva Conventions, attacks on civilian objects, including aircraft carrying humanitarian aid, are war crimes.
The Civil Aviation Organization has appealed to international bodies to immediately pay attention to this attack, prosecute the culprits and stop such threats.
