King’s shooting schedule got disturbed amid Iran-Israel war: The action sequence of Shahrukh, Suhana and Anil was to be shot in Dubai, due to security reasons the set will be made in Mumbai.




The increasing tension of Iran-Israel war has affected Shahrukh Khan’s film King. A major action sequence was to be shot in the Dubai desert with Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan and Anil Kapoor, but the schedule was canceled due to security reasons. Now a desert set is being built in Mumbai. According to a Mid-Day report, King’s Dubai shooting was scheduled months ago and all the permissions and formalities were completed. The shooting was scheduled to begin for a week from April 9, but the director canceled it due to security concerns. According to the report, the Dubai scenes will now be shot in the studio located in Vile Parle, Mumbai, where the production team has prepared the same desert set as director Siddharth Anand wanted. A studio shoot will allow better focus on action and lighting. King will be released on 24 December 2026. King, being made under the direction of Siddharth Anand, will be released on Christmas 24 December 2026. The shooting of the film began in May 2025 and a major portion was shot at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai. The prison sequence was shot with 200 stuntmen. In July 2025, Shahrukh Khan was injured during an action sequence at Vile Parle’s Golden Tobacco Factory, after which he went to the United States for treatment and the shooting was halted for 6 weeks. Rs 50 crores were spent on an action scene. Along with Shahrukh Khan, Suhana Khan, Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone are also in important roles in the film. Abhishek Bachchan is in a negative role. Rs 50 crores have been spent on shooting the big action sequence between Shahrukh and Abhishek in Europe.
