Dhurandar 2 became 3rd highest grossing bollywood film in just 11 days, can soon break the record of Aamir Khan's Dangal

Ranveer Singh’s film Dhurandhar: The Revenge has become the third highest grossing film of Bollywood. The Indian collection of the film has reached Rs 846.87 crore, while the film has collected Rs 1350 crore worldwide.

According to trade website Sacknikl, the film earned Rs 68.10 crore on March 29, i.e. the second Sunday of its release, while it earned Rs 62.85 crore on March 28 (Saturday). In such a situation, in 11 days the film earned Rs 846.87 crore in India and Rs 1350 crore worldwide. With this collection, Dhurandhar 2 has become the third highest grossing film.

The film is close to surpassing the all-time collection of Rs 1428 crore of the previous part Dhurandhar, which is the second highest grossing film of Bollywood. At present Aamir Khan’s Dangal is at number one.

5th highest grossing Indian film across all languages

Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the second highest-grossing Bollywood film, is India’s 5th highest-grossing film across all languages. It has broken the records of RRR and KGF Chapter 2, but is still behind Pushpa-2 and Baahubali 2.

Dangal is India’s highest-grossing film, but its collection in India was only Rs 511 crore and most of the earnings came from overseas. Baahubali 2 ranks first among the highest grossing films in India, earning Rs 1429 crore. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 is at second place and Dhurandhar is at third place.

With these box office figures, Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2 director Aditya Dhar has become the only Bollywood director who has given two films earning more than Rs 1000 crore. Before him, SS Rajamouli had also made two 1000 crore earning films like Bahubali and Bahubali 2.
