Director Aditya Dhar is upset with the way lies are being spread about the film on the internet. He is angry at those who are tampering with the content of the movie by making fake AI videos.

Aditya Dhar wrote in his Insta post that he is happy with the way Dhurandhar 2 is getting response in the country and abroad. But he is heartbroken to see the way some people are tampering with the scenes related to his film. Official promotional content is being tampered with using AI. An attempt is being made to set a wrong narrative through this. Aditya mentioned a fake viral scene, in which Hamza/Jaskirat was shown smoking while tying a turban.
He writes- This is a wrong scene. There is no truth in this at all. Neither is this scene part of the film, nor have we released anything like this. This is deliberate manipulation to create controversy.
Aditya said in clear words that he has deep respect for the Sikh community. Every character associated with the film has been filmed with great sensitivity, responsibility and dignity. Any type of false content is false and manipulated. Aditya appealed to the people to trust only the official content. Do not accept AI generated videos as truth. The director also said that he will take strict action against those who spread fake information and upload wrong videos.
Earlier, there was an uproar on Madhavan’s scene also. It was said that Madhavan recited lines from the holy book while smoking a cigarette in the movie. The actor clarified that people have misunderstanding. He had extinguished his cigarette before reciting the lines from the holy book. In the video, Madhavan along with giving clarification also apologized to the people.
