After Bollywood singer-rapper Badshah removed his objectionable song Tatiri from YouTube, now Haryana Police has also taken action. Panchkula Police has removed a total of 857 links related to the song from all digital platforms, which includes 154 YouTube videos and 703 Instagram reels. Along with this, the police is also identifying those people who are sharing these till now. The police have also issued notices to all the platforms directing them to remove all versions of the song – re-uploads, short videos and other forms. Actually, Badshah’s Tatiri song was released on March 1. After the release of the song, many social organizations had raised objections regarding Badshah’s lyrics and the girls’ scenes in it. After which Haryana Women Commission and Child Protection Commission took cognizance of this. Badshah was summoned to appear in Panipat by the Haryana Women’s Commission, failing which an order for his arrest was issued. However, the Punjab and Haryana High Court stayed his arrest and asked the police to withdraw the lookout notice. Warning to reels creators, people sharing are being identified. Additional Director General of Police and Panchkula Commissioner Shibas Kaviraj has warned reel creators. He said that whoever makes a reel, short or other video on this song and shares it, a case will be registered and action will be taken against him. At the same time, the social media accounts of those who do this can also be blocked or banned.
