Passersby took him to the hospital from where he was referred to Kanpur in critical condition.
The victim is fighting a battle between life and death. It is being told that the accident was so horrific that the bike was blown to pieces, the orderly suffered serious injuries in many parts of his body. At present, the police have taken possession of Thar and have started further legal action.
The matter is of city Kotwali area. Where Surendra Kumar, who lives in DM Colony, works as a collector’s orderly, according to the information, Surendra reached home after duty and was going to the market for household work, when a speeding Thar hit him hard, due to which he was badly injured. People nearby informed the police and DM office. He was admitted to the hospital, from where after first aid, Surendra was referred to Kanpur.
Surendra’s condition is very critical. Eyewitnesses say that DM Colony, which is a VIP colony, is haunted by luxury vehicles. Cars pass at high speed, people do stunts. Complaints were made several times but no attention was paid. There is also coaching in this colony, where many girls come to study and young men work here.
Giving information, SP’s media cell said that a Thar vehicle hit a bike rider in the Civil Line DM Colony area of the city police station, in which the bike rider, who was the DM’s orderly, was seriously injured, who was admitted to the hospital, after first aid he was referred to the higher center. On the basis of the complaint, further legal action is being taken by filing a case.
