He said, ‘My opinion is that removing the price cap on Russian oil is not a good idea, because we do not want Russia to get so much money that it can start the war again in Ukraine or continue it. He also said that Europe is not buying Russian oil. ‘We do not buy Russian oil and we do not have even a drop of it.’
War is also affecting the global oil market
Philipp Ackermann said that the ongoing tension in West Asia is also affecting the global oil market. According to him, the Strait of Homruz is almost closed, due to which oil prices are increasing. Our economies are slowing down and people are dissatisfied. These are the consequences of a war in which we are not even directly involved. He also clarified that European countries are not part of this conflict, but are monitoring the situation at the diplomatic level. In his words, “This is not our war.
