Trailer launch of film calendar, emotional story of women’s life: New initiative to start conversation on sensitive issues in the society through movie.
The team of the upcoming film ‘Calendar’ held a press conference before its release in Mumbai and informed the media about the concept and story of the film. Made under the banner of Running Horse Creations, the producer and lead actor of this film is Adarsh Gunduraj. The special thing is that ‘Calendar’ is originally a Kannada film, which is now being released in Hindi also so that it can reach the audience across the country. Chartered accountant turned filmmaker Adarsh Gunduraj said in the press meet that the story of this film tries to bring out the emotional aspects related to women’s lives. He said that the film is not only entertainment but also an attempt to start a conversation on sensitive issues in the society. The story of the film reflects the emotional ups and downs in the lives of women, their impact on relationships and the challenges they face in everyday life. The makers say that ‘Calendar’ will make the audience think with a strong story. Apart from Adarsh Gunduraj, actors like Ramesh Indira, Prakash Thuminadu, Gurunandan, Malashri, Suchendraprasad, Chandraprabha, Shiv Pradeep, Sushmita Nayak, Nivishka Patil and Amrutha will be seen in the film. The film is directed by Naveen Shakti, while the music is composed by Sunad Gautam. Cinematography is handled by Ramesh Koira and editing by Suresh Arumugam. The action sequence has been designed by National Award winning and ‘KGF’ and ‘Kantara’ fame action director Vikram Mor. The film is written and produced by Aadarsh Gunduraj, while Shiv Pradeep is the co-producer and Mahantash R is the co-director. ‘Calendar’ will be released in theaters on April 3, 2026, and is being distributed by VK Films (Vijay Kiragandur Films).
