Hussain Hasan Mirza also said that he hoped that India would intervene diplomatically, as there is a large Indian community in UAE. About 35 lakh Indians live in UAE. He also said that UAE has never allowed any activity against Iran from its territory. He further said that other Gulf countries like Kuwait and Qatar have also not allowed attacks against Iran from their soil.
The former UAE Ambassador has given this statement at a time when Iran’s war has spread to the Gulf countries. Since February 28, Iran has targeted several US military bases and bases in the UAE.
