Know in sequence what Karambir Fauji said…
The song became famous, hence the controversy
Karambir Fauji told that the song became quite famous as soon as it was released. If it had not been famous then perhaps there would not have been so much controversy. The song had Haryanvi lyrics, so the public was happy and the family was also happy that their daughter’s song was reaching Bollywood. The music of the song was also good and people liked Simran’s voice too.
Many calls came regarding the words of the song
Karambir said that there were some words in the rap part of the song which led to controversy. The same words were wrong and people objected to them. Therefore the song was removed from YouTube. This kind of wording is not accepted in the society and hence people’s displeasure also came to the fore. I received calls from many villagers, but did not receive any kind of threat. People simply said that such words should not be in songs.

We didn’t know the rap lines
Karambir Fauji told that before the release of the song, we were not aware of Badshah’s rap lines. We thought that the rap would be similar to the lines of the song. After the dispute he talked to Badshah’s team. We told them clearly that this kind of wording is not accepted in the culture here.
No information about bus and school
On the Haryana Roadways bus shown in the song, Karambir said that he had no knowledge about the shooting. Only a recorded song was sent by the family. The dubbing of the song was done in Kaithal, while the dubbing of the rest of the songs might have been done in Mumbai. We also do not have information about the school in Sacha Kheda village of Jind which has been described as Badshala. We did not go there. School was created through editing.
Who sang what, in front of everyone
Karambir Fauji said that it hurts anything that harms the culture. In such cases, the dignity of the society is more important than happiness or sorrow and one has to act accordingly. Simran Jaglan sang a folk song, while Badshah remixed it. It is now clear to everyone who has sung what in the song.

On 26 February, Badshah had come to Kaithal and Sonipat for the promotion of Tatiri song.
FIR in Panchkula-Jind, song removed from YouTube
The rap of the song Tatiri uses objectionable words, shows girls in school dress throwing bags, and uses a Haryana Roadways bus, leading to controversy. In this case, separate cases have been registered against Badshah in Panchkula and Jind. Haryana Police has said that it will form teams and issue Look Out Circular (LOC) to arrest Badshah. Furthermore, the song has been removed from YouTube, and the police have also said that legal action will be taken against whoever makes a reel on it.
The king said- Son, please understand and forgive me.
After the controversy, Badshah released a video saying, “Some of the lyrics and scenes of my song ‘Tattiri’ have hurt some people of Haryana. I am from Haryana myself. It was not my intention to say such an absurd thing about any child or woman from Haryana. I am from the hip-hop genre, where the lyrics always demean the competition.
In a way, they are for the opponent. I have always tried to take the culture of Haryana forward. If anyone is offended by that part of my song, please forgive me considering I am a son of Haryana.”
